Project Overview

Turning geospatial into spatial experience

Planet turns satellite imagery into insight people can act on. Planet Explore brought that mission to the real world through live events. We partnered with Planet on conference branding and brand experience design, developing a cohesive visual system and event wayfinding that carried across every touchpoint, from signage and stage moments to templates for screens, content, and comms.

A brand in space

Conference branding that sets the stage

Explore 2019 established the tone: confident, curious, and built for momentum. We developed a visual identity that could flex across spaces and formats, then translated it into real-world applications that guided people and made the brand feel present. The result was a system that helped attendees navigate, orient, and connect, while the look and feel stayed unmistakably Planet.

A system for screens

When the experience went digital

In 2020, Explore moved online. The job stayed the same: keep the experience legible and the brand coherent. We adapted the identity into a clean, highly usable toolkit for screens and sessions, so the event still felt like a place people could move through, even when they were not in the same room.

Consistency at scale

One system across formats

By 2021, Explore became hybrid. We refined the identity so it held together across on-site moments and digital touchpoints, with consistent hierarchy, clear navigation cues, and a visual language that could scale from big gestures to small details. The goal was simple: wherever you joined from, it still felt like Planet Explore.

Across multiple editions, Planet Explore grew into a recognizable platform for conversation and connection. Our role was to keep the brand experience coherent, usable, and distinctive, so the event worked as an experience first and a visual system second.
